Sadly Hooper is a very tidy player. Like Norwich or not, they're doing alright....

Are they? Last time I looked they were four points above the drop zone with a -14 goal difference. I suppose that's as well as Norwich ever do but I wouldn't say it was 'alright'

He's scored five goals for Norwich this season in all competitions.

That's one more than Suarez scored against them in one match.

Come on boys, we need to go easy on them, apparently their 8.5 million wonder striker who was going to rip up the premier league has got a career threatening toe injury! <laugh>

Sounds like an excuse to get away if you ask me!

Not yet, apparently he is really busy with other things.

Perhaps his focus has been on helping out CH in the last 10 days, hence the win at the weekend <ok>

Great post this. Ipswich fans that attend football matches on a regular basis have always known a good player when they see him.

How is this season's used stub collection going Hampy?

Unfortunately I like Hooper. He was brilliant at Scunthorpe and when we were looking for a striker at that time he was the one I was hoping we would go for. He is also a player that looks comfortable in the Champions league so personally I feel Norwich got a great deal.

JWM, each to their own but I seriously thought he looked good for Scunthorpe and a goal scoring record of more than 1 in 2 looks good to me. There was a period when I was hoping we would go for 1 or 2 of 3 either Scunny or ex Scunny players as I also thought Billy Sharpe & Martin Paterson looked like decent prospects.
