The former Premier League footballer Delroy Facey has been jailed for two and-a-half years for match-fixing and offering substantial payments to non-league players to fix games. Ex-Lincoln City defender Moses Swaibu has also sentenced to 16 months for his part in the conspiracy. I'm not sure how much this has to do with our former player, Michael Boateng, but as for Facey, he was an average League Two striker who played against Rovers a few times (scored against us for Hereford in Jan 2012). What utter fools.
We all know where they will end up when they get out of prison. I give you a clue..... We are facing them tonight!!
All the same 2 and a half seems a bit much. It always seems crimes that involve money are treated more harshly than those against the person. I'll use this as an example. How the f is this guy still walking the streets? Yet a footballer who fixed games gets over twice as long and none of it suspended? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/lo...er-life-is-ruined-after-sex-assault-1-6715172
Didn't one of our old keepers get done for match fixing. I think his name was some thing like Esmond Millon
