Delighted for Roy. Gutted for 'Arry

I'm apathetic to the England team due to the anti-Chelsea nature of the fans etc but I'm pleased Hodgson got the job, he was the outstanding candidate and it seems the FA made the right choice. Under his guidance England may well become a genuine contender for the Euro's if they can avoid Spain or Germany.

I'm no fan of 'Arry by any means but I'm devastated for the guy, having spent months being tantalised by the FA with that job after Fabio resigned he now sees Hodgson get it. 'Arry has done well to take a small midtable club into the CL, that is a feat which IMO is almost unsurpassed and probably one of the greatest stories since Shamrock Rovers got into the Europa League.

Can't see 'Arry getting out of there now, unless he plays the health card, he was probably banking on the England job in a desperate attempt to flee Spurs. Modric and Bale have their exits planned and in all probability have their feet up laughing, whist attending Italian/Spanish speech classes

 

Rumour has it the F.A. truly wanted Harry but with the excessive wages he was demanding tested their resolve to the limit but apparently Levy wanted more than Harry which severely pissed them off no end.

 

I would have to paraphrase the OP's title :

Delighted for Woy, ****ing haha 'Arry

I hear the reason he didn't get the job, was that he couldn't read or write. If all the players weren't named after his dogs, then he wouldn't be able to communicate with them. Anyway, his "Swiss Bank Account" doesn't take Roubles
