Watching CBBC's just now with my daughter. There is a piece on this lady who effectively introduced the world to electronic music long before Kraftwerk and the like. She composed the theme tune to Doctor Who in 1963. Amazing lady, years ahead of her time. Some of the programmes on CBBC are excellent. Very informative and much better than adult TV. As I've said before Horrible Histories is probably the best programme on TV.
It really is excellent. My nieces regualrly watch it on youtube which makes a pleasant change from Hannah bloody montana or whatever rubbish is on Disney
