Confirmed to be training at our base while considering his options.

It's got to the point where a semi-fit Dele Alli who hasn't played a competitive game in months is still a more exciting prospect than most of our midfielders and attackers.

Worth a punt for the rest of the season? He'd certainly give the fans something to cheer about.

I know it's crazy, but I'd personally do it. IF he can rediscover his mojo, he'd be a major asset.

And if he can't, still a better option than Gallagher and Sarr.

Nah, he’s never going to find his mojo again. Not at spurs anyway.

I’m pleased the club is helping him and hopefully he can get himself fit and find another club and enjoy some success. He deserves a break.

I think we only have 7 home grown players over 21 so I think we can add a free agent like Dele
So you can change squads outside of transfer windows, but only for free agents and where there's a gap in you squad.

I don't care if he's not even National League level at this point. I'd shoot Bentancur to make space for him in the squad, at least seeing him play again would give me a smile <ok>

I know you meant it tongue in cheek, but this was my point. The club are in an absolute rut right now that Tudor has unsurprisingly failed to lift. If anything, he's contributing to it by constantly highlighting how crap our squad is. The stadium alternates between a funeral parlour and a booing contest. The players look and sound deflated and broken.

Dele Alli in a Spurs shirt again, even if only for brief cameos here and there, would at least put some cheer back into the place.

After watching that interview with him, I'd have to say no, I'm afraid.
The poor bloke sounds broken. I hope I'm wrong, of course.
The interview, plus the fact that he hasn't found even half of his level after many chances with other teams, suggests it would be an exciting but disappointing risk.

I actually think he was the most affected by Pochettino leaving out of all of the players.

If Poch was manager, I'd be more inclined to risk it.

To be fair though, we almost just need bodies at this point. It wouldn't hurt. I mean. can it get more disappointing than it is already?!?

Counter point: it could be both disappointing and a little bit sad

But he would only play any minutes if he was up to it. There is no one in our squad that I would want going through 1 on 1 with a keeper over Dele. If he's not doing that in training then he is not making the match day squad.

One way Dele could be an asset is sort of like how Danny Rose was used in his last season with us, as an ersatz youth coach

Having him work with Williams-Barnett, Olusessi could be a useful thing to do
