The official BCFC twitter feed said:

Derek McInnes misses the Open Training Session on club business. Healthy crowd in attendance. Lots of youngsters.

    Then moments later:
Tony Docherty: "Derek's away on a recruitment drive. We're hopeful of bringing in 2-3 more before the start of the season."

I wonder who Del is signing up..? must be close otherwise they woudln't be saying anything....

I do admire the way Del and Doc and the rest of the staff go about the business. Its all done very profesional, no name dropping or speculation and then denying any media hype and bs if its not on the cards.
I hope this is the start of a long and meaningfull relationship!

ahhhh lovely, he was at his best with that number, also suggest that if pitmans number 10 he may well be our first choice striker next year, with Baldock? Yes please, be forced to keep the ball on the ground

If he's fit it won't matter what number Marv has on his back he'll be McInnes's first choice CM.

    The others don't come close.

'if pitmans number 10 he may well be our first choice striker'

I think Stead's first choice and maybe plus 1 other if Del plays 2 up front.

    Elliott
    Skuse
    Pearson
    Morris

In order of our best CM

Dels going to have a real head ache picking 2 wingers this season

    Adomah, Bolasie, Anderson, Pearson.....Woolford

Addy and Yannick seem to be having a great pre season, pearson is as solid as it gets, Anderson we havent seen enough of but couldnt see him coming here without being in the first team, and wooly, well he can play now and again i suppose

So if we do add Buzsacky McInnes will literally be spoilt for choice (if all fit) when selecting a midfield

Dont write Morris off, he looked tidy in the training session when they were playing a short game, playing some good passes. Skuse as always tackling like a dog.

Marv I will give him his due was carrying a injury as they worked on him at the end. But you know my opinion off him.

There is no way I don't think he is first choice

Elliott will take his rightful place on the bench, We have midfielders that are better than him and looks like if Buzsacky joins well its a no brainer he'll be first on the team sheet

elliott and buzsaky in the middle, Elliott can do everything skuse can as well as score goals, no brainer, marv will start, every manager we've had has played him when fit.

Young Shiny has a point there Red.
He has been first choice with 4 managers at AG, even though he couldnt trap a bag of wet cement

Seriously, If Buzsaky does sign he will probably be injured much of the time anyway, and our options are now greatly increased in the middle so everyone has to be on their toes to get a place and keep it. The midfield line-up could be anybody.
I cant see Del giving places without merit (how refreshing by the way)

well ill admit skuse played well those last 3 games, he also had a great season 3 seasons ago and then was a complete flop the following one after receiving the arm band, I like marv (if you didnt already know) he can tackle, run and score, granted his passing isnt the best but with a creative player along side him he wouldnt have to worry about picking passes, Skuse as great as he is, for me is just behind marv. As for morris, if he keeps elliott and skuse out of the team i fear the worse. At 33 he should be out part player,
