Yep great day for him. Tell you what Rob Newman quality as was Jaqui still has it. Watching Gow run around on the pitch was brilliant, what a great gesture regards £1000 donated from his testimonial to the little girl that needs large funds for a operation. Top man. Well done all the BCFC and MCFC fans who made the effort.
They said 2-1 but it was 3-1, they were 2-0 half time then Lee Mathews scored for us then Goater scored for them. You can see a lot of them have enjoyed their food since quitting
Sure they scored twice in the first half, must of drank more than I thought But one gripe I had today was those awful wooden seats with leg room for little people
Great day all round and Mathews took his goal really well. Jackie still looks a class act. After the concerns of last week in terms of players from Gow's era it was good to see Gerry Sweeney and Brian Drysdale play too and also big Joe Corrigan.
Joe corrigan looks a old man now,Christ time is flying by. Anybody know what the official crowd was the stand looked 90% full to me from down the front looking back up at it.
Joe Corrigan is now a fairly old man I'm afraid at age 63.....time isn't flying by, it's bloody hurtling !!!!!!! Brian Drysdale is 69 now that does make me feel old.
Its not that long ago that he could be seen running the roads of South Bristol on most days. I thought he looked reasonably ok for someone who is pushing 70.
