Im picking degale he's not got the power and can't throw a jab either. I think degale will knock him down left hook early and might stop him.
How does a judge score 114-112. Eubanks won by a mile and Belgian judge got it spot on 117-109, as did Ritchie Woodhall ringside.
Felt it was the danger with Degale. I thought he'd get stopped but Eubank is so wild with his power punches he was able to get through it. A top fighter with a bit of power would have hurt Degale badly and he should take that as a warning sign. They were talking about improvements with Eubank. I don't see it and see him coming up short again. Unfortunately its not smart to get to 29 without having had a proper trainer full time. Your dad telling you how great you are and dipping in and out of great gyms will not make you a great fighter. Hence all the wild swings and getting tagged easily. I think he's left it too late to change and make the most of his ability. Its sad really because there is plenty to work with. The guy like his dad has a granite chin. He can punch too and physically he is a beast. However too often he doesn't deliver his punches correctly and he can't follow a plan in the ring. He did at times on Saturday but then he'd revert to type. I didn't have a bet because I thought late stoppage to Eubank but there were so many variable in this one. I'd have been wrong so money saved. I have to say a prime Degale would have beaten Eubank too.
