Fantastic forward when he is at his best, but seems to have a bit of an attitude problem. If Bruce could this out I for one would love to see him at the SoL.

Very strong rumours around the internet suggesting that Jermaine Defoe is to sign for us. An ITK mate of Tony Jeffries is even suggesting that Jermaine is at the SoL now. Could be bollocks, but this story just won't go away, so there could be something in it.

    from @Transfers_SSN Transfers_SSN twitter
@SunderlandAFC11 haven't heard anything about Jermaine Defoe having talks at the SOL today but I'll let you know if I do. Seems to be a very strong rumour at the moment that your linked.

    from @Tony_Jeffries Tony Jeffries twitter

Too prone to lapses in form that go on for ages.

When he's good, he's very, very, good.
When he's bad, he ****ing ****e!

I don't like him. I don't want him. I'll never like or want him.

Unless he gets 15+ a season. I may reconsider.

    Who???? Me???? No!!!

I was just thinking. I don't have to like the repugnant little ****.
As long as he did the business on a Football field and not in a Tesco's car park he may be OK.

I don't believe this for a second but if it happened it would be amazing. When we had Judas back in the 606 days so many spuds told us how Defoe was better than Judas and to be honest i almost agreed with them.

It would put us right up there, imagine the attacking line. If we got Welbeck too a class centre half and a lb we would have a real chance of Europe.

It does make you wonder if Bruce has said to Wickham, Gardener and Larsson that he is confident of signing other name players.
