I know this was West Ham with Sams tactics (hoof it in the box) yet we made them look like Brazil, in the second half it looked like we didn't have a midfield and as for counter attack? Bramble impressed and so did the rest of our defence but you can't expect to defend for 60mins with no outlet. Nolan did his usual and bullied anyone near him (why he didn't join stoke I'll never know) and McClean should of been taken off. All in all we got what we deserved and if it wasn't for fletcher we would be in serious cack as the last couple of games have been dire to watch.
I have said for a long time Catts and Colbeck are not a good pairing in midfield as they give us no outlet and neither can score goals As soon as Bardsley is fit i would bring Gardener into the middle
Thought Larsson was decent compared to McClean and Sess, I hate our style of play though. I know we have injuries but carry on like this it's another long season!!!
I don't know what the craic is with Sess (fitness?) and McClean was just dire but agree Catts/Coleback just dosn't work. I still believe we have and are building a decent squad but need a creative midfielder badly who will put his foot on the ball and pick a pass (hard to come by). I'm not worrying yet but hope we get a win soon which IMO will push us on, that along with Johnson and Bardsleys return.
