Been told by a Liverpool fan from Hull that I'm out of order for not supporting FC tomorrow cos they're from Hull!

He does realise there are two rugby teams in Hull, doesn't he?

As there are new guidelines about abusing fans from other clubs on line, I had better keep it zipped about Hull folk wearing shirts of other clubs!!!!!!

I thought the definition of irony was something which looks like iron but isn't?

Tell her to forget the rugby teams. There's a third (= 1st) team from Hull and it's Hull City AFC - the Tigers!

Just seen that apparently 20,000 tickets have been sold to FC fans. City got more than double that in 2008.

City have sold 23,500ish for tomorrow.

    Says it all imo.

RFL have confirmed it is more around the 23k mark - Norwich have sold 2,800 of that total for the football.

I wont be watching, I'll be at City, and I wont know the score until I accidentally hear it. But IF I was watching I'd be cheering for Wigan.

I know some people think that's a **** thing to do but I dont give two hoots. I hate the vast, vast majority of Hull rugby fans purely for their attitude to City. Two wrongs dont make a right and perhaps I should be the bigger man, but the way I see it - **** the ****s.

A lot of FC fans hate Hull City for their fans attitudes to Rugby and their fans. Each to their own

Maybe I should clarify my personal experience:

During our very darkest days under Hately, rugby fans but FC fans in particular, used to laugh in my face whenever City lost. Mocking me mercillously and actually saying that they hoped we'd be relegated to the conference. I remember one particular incident when I had to work on a Saturday afternoon and was in the rare situation of missing a home game. We were winning, against Torkey I think, 3-1 into injury time in a crucial game at the bottom of the entire league. Whilst awaiting the final score desperately hoping we saw it through the visitors miraculously scored twice to draw the game. I was disconsolate and a group of FC fans at work - who all supported top flight football clubs obviously - came out of their way to actually, physically laugh in my face. I never forgot this and in my personal case is at the heart of why I hate the bastards.

Obviously once me made the Prem I saw one of them at a City game wearing our colours. ****ing scumbags.

You missed the main point there.

City sold 45k at Wembley. FC have sold around half that.

And don't use the 2 clubs bullshit - because the city is not divided 50/50 in terms of the rugby fans.

    Haha no we didn't.

That number of tickets didn't even go on sale to City fans.

Just because you worked with a bunch of ****s 15 years ago doesn't really justify hating thousands of people because they happen to follow a sports team.

**** off to the egg chasers board with your hidden agenda mate. The only natural conclusion to come to is FC fans are fat, stupid twats.
