Definition of a witch-hunt -- a rigorous campaign to expose to ridicule and discredit people/person considered to hold unorthodox or contrary views. What happened to this Forum? First head to roll was Casualfan. Then it was Breezy. Now it's Dai's head on the block. Who will be next,I wonder? YOU! YOU! or perhaps even YOU! No-one is safe when a gang goes on the rampage. It's full compliance,or look out. This is my first offering on this Forum for some time. I kept away because I didn't like the way it was heading. It would appear that my fears were justified. I occasionally pop in to see if things have improved. Old habits,etc.,etc. Sad to say it appears to have gotten worse. I was deeply saddened reading some of the offerings of late. People are different,hold deeply entrenched views,some of which you may not like,but that is no reason to vilify and isolate them. An olive branch was given to a vehement anti-Swan,yet our own are deemed superfluous,and treated shabbily. All very sad. Anyway,I've had my say. Sincerely hope this Forum gets back on track,sooner,rather than later.

While 99 v 1 doesn't mean that the 1 is wrong, by the same token it doesn't make the 99 a witch hunt. If I went too far last night and Dai took offence I will be more than happy to apologise to him, but knowing Dai it will be water off a duck's back. Dai gives as good as he gets and takes no prisoners, but he is man enough to take it back. Of course we need differing views on here otherwise what would be the point? As Norway said himself, Dai is a master wum and does it without effort, so he has to take some responsibility himself for rubbing people up the wrong way. I was debating a point with him and got a lot of backup from others who are fed up of his wumming and maybe it did go too far, but like I say I will apologise for my part in that if Dai was offended

To call the posters on this board firstly such a name as Taliban is grotesque. I don't injure innocent kids , I don't denigrate women. My actions don't injure British Service personell on a daily basis whilst they go about their mission . I don't kill innocent civilians. I don't fund my activities by helping with the opium market and thus introduce heroin into countries thereby killing more and leaving lives in misery. And then we started down the religious route and I think we should leave it there. Your problem pal as identified by yourself and picked up on by Vetch, is that you , you personally , so I have been informed, had a problem with a Cardiff supporter who said some really hatefull things. I agree. However, I have also been led to believe he has apologised . Apparently this does not satisfy you . This then I think, is the root cause why you are so defensive of the wum, as you feel let down by this forum and posters ? To make my position clear. I will treat dai with respect, when I think he is deserving of it, until then if he continues to wum well so be it. No witch-hunt believe me. Hi Vetch. I made up my mind some time ago not to post any more either but I do pop in to have a look at what's being debated and had to contribute here. This post is spot on. The whole ethos of the forum these days is if you have a strong opinion and are not averse to voicing it you're villified by the usual clique if they happen to disagree. To see posters who have been extremely abusive in the past preach 'peace, love and understanding' really has made me laugh these past weeks. The same ones have heavily criticised the mods and now slam others who do the same. The hypocrisy is risible. When one of the main perperators was put up as a mod (having made homophobic comments in the recent past and has publicly stated he gets a rise out of getting a reaction to his posts), coupled with the almost obscene decision to reintroduce the vile Aber (Rubberball) it signalled a drop in quality and increase in bitching so that was it for me. From what I've seen I was right - leopards who don't change their spots back-slapping each other on their inconsequential musings, and if you disagree, watch out. As Dai says - they don't even go to the games! As for singling out Dai, well everyone knows we've had some real hum-dingers but fair play, he's been proved right on some things and is one of those posters who is entertaining if nothing else. This lot won't be satisfied until he ****s off elsewhere, which will be a shame. Those of us who have left like myself, Vetch, Scott and Breezy have generally done so because of breathtakingly bad decisions made by those who run a forum where unfortunately it's one rule for those whose face fits and one for those whose doesn't. A forum with potential that's dying on its feet.
Some vague finger pointing there that should be clarified to give the accused a chance to defend themselves. If any of it is directed at me, I'd just like to point out that I've always supported the mods, hold a season ticket and have done since league 2 and don't want Dai to go anywhere. This thread is doing a fantastic job of defusing things
Is there a new rule that nobody is to disagree with Dai anymore? Or is it just a restriction on how many can disagree with him at any given time? If he's going to go on the Liverpool board and comment how fantastic they are and that they will win the league next season, while insisting that our week was "far from brilliant", then he's going to get a backlash from most Swansea fans. I respect his opinions and his right to air them, but then you've got to expect a response from those who were astounded by his comments. Next time maybe we'll try a wrestling style tag system so that we're only one at a time eh?
We all care deeply about the Swans, but just because a person might say some something that doesn't go exactly with the 'company-line', doesn't mean he has to be treated the way he does sometimes. Everyone's entitled to their opinion & so is Dai. To me that doesn't mean he's any less a Swans' fan. He pay's/paid his cash & so can say whatever he likes, life's too short to get 'hung-up' on such effing trivia.....
