There are no words to describe what happened yesterday but if one word could describe it, it would probably be embarressing. But could this turn out to be a blessing in disguise, sure we got a battering, and in front of the nation as well But there is no hiding place now for all concerned, if ME has any love for the club he is going to have to invest now and invest heavily. if he choses not to then we all know where he stands and he wont be here much longer. A defining moment for PJ as well,he has 11 days to buy a defence or resign. He has bought in 8 players, most play like they have been dragged off the streets given a shirt and told to play however they like. Is PJ the right man? I honestly dont know yet, but we will sure find out over the next week. Whatever direction and ambitions the management team/owners/directors have for our club will be for all to see in the next two weeks. We will either be looking for new owners/new manager and players more suitable for league 1 football, or the club will show their strength in unity by giving jewel the funds for a new defence and maybe a new manager who knows! Either way this is going to be a massive defining moment in ITFC`s history A blessing in disguise may be the wrong phrase to use but one way or another we will all see how the land lies very quickly.
I would like to agree with you but feel it might not be THE defining moment, I think there might be worse to come (I do not mean heavy defeats, just lack of wins). As there is precious little time to do an awful lot before the transfer window closes at the end of the month PJ might be able to get players in to improve what you already have.
