One matter that came out of our pre-Christmas discussions was how do we all define success? Some of us regard survival as success, others clearly demand more. To get a general consensus on this Iâm putting up three polls, for this season, for two seasons time and five seasons hence to see where we see the boundaries of success are set. So what do we regard as a successful season for 2015/16?
12th - 16th and a cup run, any more would still be a massive bonus in my opinion. We are not rich by this league's standards. Just look at the established clubs struggling this season. Anyone from 8th down could be in trouble come May.
Got to be aiming for mid-table and a cup run. Don't fancy the Europa League, pointless games against teams with names like Metalist and Skonto...
Top 10 finish, 4 homegrown players as regulars, League Cup finalists or FA Cup semi finalists, second season in new stadium in W12. I really hope we win something other than the Championship/ old Div 2/ League Cup in my lifetime!
if we are still in the prem in four years i would be hoping we have become successful under our new manager and owner. hopefully tf sells to the indians hopefully it wont be our fourth season trying to get back to the brem
