With Bardo out first question is will O'Shea be fit.

If he is I would go

    BROWN,,TURNER,,TITUS..OSHEA

    If not Richardson for O'Shea

I would be slightly against moving Brown as he has been our best player to date, but then Elmo at right back scares me more!

So i'd probably go with you Syd.

Bruce goes on about a steady back four but ours changes every ****ing week! Look at newcastle keeping clean sheets etc and its no suprise their back stays the same. Partly Bardo's fault mind and O'shea being injured.

    I would play:

    Elmo....Turner....Brown...O'Shea

My reasons for this is because Elmo plays RB for Egypt, and it is only Bruce that feels he is a RW.

Bramle had a mare on Saturday, so Turner for me. The other 2 pick them selves.

Also, on another note I would play Westwood instead if Mig.

O'Shea Brown Maureen from the Canteen A lottery before the game where who is ever in the seat gets to play left back.

    Cant do much Worse

I agree mostly with you there AJ - Elmo at Right Back - how fast is he? he looked lightning at the weekend and left one of the best left backs in the world for dead - good going forward but I'd question his tackling ability as a full back - especially against Etherington!!

I'd definitely go with Westwood as well as Mignolet is terrible from balls coming across the box and Stoke are extremely good at this from dead balls and open play - could be scary with him in goal!

One thing I've noticed about Bruce is that a player who has a nightmare seems to get a game to prove themselves afterwards - for me this is a game too many sometimes especially when it's a mistake that has been made again and again!

I would stay away from Elmo, BTW Bruce and others think he is a rw, I know its the fashion to lay all blame at Brucies door.

Just dont think he can defend.

Also unfair to blame Bruce for not having a settled back 4, he did not injure O'Shea.

Elmo at RB for me. simply cos he is one of our bigger players and will cope well with the aerial threat. He can also skin stoke down wing imo. Larsson playing in front of him.

Bendtner and Wickham up front, again cos they are big lads and will help with defending against stoke at set pieces.

Bramble, Brown and Ricco the other 3 defenders (as i dont think oshea will be fit)

Could not have said it better myself. But I really don't want to move Brown, he has been quality so far.

With the aerial threat of Stoke, does anybody else agree we should play Bramble and Turner in the centre, with Brown at right back and O'Shea leftback.

I appreciate Browns been our stand out performer so far this season in the middle, but Ricco will offer us absolutley nothing defensively if he plays left back! With them 4 in the box at set-pieces i think we will be much more solid!
Stoke bullied us last season in both games!

Only someone as daft as Bruce would make team selections based purely on the height of the players.

Then again, we did that last season when we selected Sol Campbell and Ameobi against Stoke because of the height advantage. That worked rea- oh wait a minute.

Turner looked totally unfit and very slow last time he played, which made me think at the time that he will not make a full recovery from his injuries: I hope I'm wrong...
I would like us to go all out attack and let them worry about us...

I'd imagine we will see a back 4 of Vaughan-Bendtner-Ji-Sessegnon.

It's only a matter of time....

Stoke are ****ing annoying like that mind. They'll park a double decker bus of players right in-front of the goal to nullify any threats, and then use weak or sporadic attacks/set-pieces to nick themselves an unlikely goal. Before you know it, they've won 1-0 and ran off with 3 points.
