With most of the goals we have conceeded this season coming from defensive errors and the curse of the woodwork following us into the new season what chance do we have next week against footballs luckiest team.
Or will it all turn round and we will finally get the breaks our performances have (mostly) deserved.
    Not holding my breath though.

agree with what you are saying, but then again it could be a blessing in disguise as we normally perform in this game.

even though we have been poor, don't think utd will take it lightly as they know we are always up for this game, just dont know why we cant treat all the games the same we do against utd.

i can see another draw but hope we batter them, we desperately need to start climbing the table, however it happens.

lets hope for a fair ref to either side lol, and whoever wins, its not controversial.

  3. They only hope I have for next week is when I think of the Man City game a few weeks ago. I expected us to get battered but we stepped up to the plate and put in what was arguably our best performance under Rodgers.

I anticipate Man Utd trying to flood the midfield in an attempt to stop us playing football so we will need to take advantage of the space that leaves us <ok>

Once we get past Utd, the fixtures are kinder to us. Hopefully we can build some momentum starting at Anfield next week ...

No need to panic IMO,saw some promising signs yesterday and we deserved more than
we got.Man. utd will be looking at next weekend with as much concern as we are, knowing
that we are more than capable of taking the points.

Roll on January when we can strengthen our striker options and also have a better idea of
where we stand in this league,as it's pointless to draw any firm conclusions from four or five
    games.(tough games too). <ok>

Well said. I thought it was a good performance yesterday and we deserved more.

Just saw the Arsenal highlights and the number of players they get in the box as well as the movement is exceptional at times.

Our movement is not good enough for the type of game we are playing.

Player quality difference and not tactical plans got us that draw.

We've noone who operates in the hole properly that can get the ball and drive at players with a bit of pace. We dont stretch teams with width.
With GJ and RS we should be able to pin someone like sunderland back. When we lose the ball we're in no position to win it back quickly either. The pressing is uncoordinated at best. several ball watchers for the goal too, concentration lapses poor vision poor finishing.

I hate most of all the weakness in defense, even though it has been many years since a title I am accustomed to us having a solid back line and being hard to score against, wtf is this sh!t

We beat top teams last season so I do hope we're not going to get a slew of smugness that it's all turned around should we win.

It's hard for him to say that when he has a Scottish whiskey sausage in his smacker.

The midfield is far too static with both Shelvey and Gerrard in there. When they have the ball, they are good but they are terrible off the ball. No movement. Allen is the perfect example of the type of player we need. Really hope Sahin starts more often ...
