After the shambolic defending tonight and having a cup game this weekend, its the perfect chance to get Agger back into the team. Hopefully Sakho is back soon too! Cissokho is crap, but it doesnt help that he has an even more useless player playing beside him. I would put Allen back there tbh, anyone but Kolo Toure!

Agger on the bench tonight so he could come in for Toure, if he can stay fit.

Hopefully we'll be able to stick Johnson on the left soon and get Agger back. Should both be fit for Sunday and gets rid of two weak links in our defence.

By the weekend we could play Flanno Skrtel Agger Johnson.

Johnson always looks better at left back.

Sakho is the one we need back badly.

Buy 2 new full backs and a RCB, a DM and CM and we'll be in great shape.

Individual errors will continue to cost us - but thankfully we have a world class attack that can dig us out at times.

Toure needs a break. I don't think he was ever meant to be first team and he's probably played a hell of a lot more than he was meant to when we originally signed him.

Kolo must have a been a magnificent defender on his day that he can still be employed by Liverpool FC in his senile decrepit days.

For somebody who splutters forwards, stumbles backwards, and shambles sideways, his defensive instincts must be immense to even come close to making up for such athletical attrition.

I don't see the need to rush and buy. I do want to know what is really wrong with Enrique?. But we have Johnson, Flanigan, Wisdom and potentially Enrique to cover the FB slots. We have Agger Skerts, Sakho and potentially Illori to cover CB ( I expect that Coutes will not return). It's how we can blend these players together that really matters and I truly believe that they can be good enough - even for CL.

Spend the money on midfield. It's going to cost a fortune to buy anybody that is remotely as good as Gerrard.

Kolo was good to start with. Is he at that age where in one season he drops from good to bad?

I really miss Enrique. Is good for our team and he is like a tank as well as being skilful. Also good in the challenge

I don't know why Rodgers switched it back to the WBA formation after the success v Arsenal.

Flanagan was in perfect synch with Henderson on Saturday and also combined with Suarez, while Cisse had Coutinho to pass to and Sterling to take it forward.

Today I saw a lot of Suarez coming to pick the ball from Cisse at the half way line with a castigating look. And saw nothing from Sterling.

Think we were much more compact at start of season. Once we opened up we started scoring a lot more but also left the central defenders more exposed. What started as the odd mistake seems to have really hurt his confidence and now he ****s the bed every time the ball comes near him.

Were playing away that's why, if we went there trying to play the way we did against Arsenal we would of been 2-0 down.

Arsenal tried to play football for football and got found out. Fulham played defensive football on the counter, no way we could play that way.

We'll have to disagree about the direction of the impact. It would have been a lateral swap only that would have produced more effective partnerships.

Stopping sloppy defending could be the difference between winning the league and 5th.....It's that tight.

Toure is a liability, he seems to panic under pressure.....I think that it rubs off on the players around him and will cost us more points, especially away.

So it was a welcome sight to see Agger back in action. Our last 4 goals against have been given away.....if we want top 4, that has to stop. I hope Agger gets a good run out against Arsenal to blow away some cobwebs......I really don't care about the FA Cup this year. Top 4 is the priority and right now, winning the league is our second priority (although highly unlikely). FA cup can wait, although winning is a habit that we want to encourage, especially away!

Our home and away form, with the exception of the odd display, has been like chalk and cheese....I don't mind winning ugly at all, to do that we need to defend much, much better.

If we'd turned those draws versus WBA and Villa into wins, we'd be top of the league today and Spurs would be a result from playing for 5th.

Games are running out, we are in a great position and everyone will drop points, especially as many of our rivals have tricky European fixtures.....but let's not make it easy for the others....let's not hand the points sloppily to our rivals!

I don't mind losing occasionally but not because of silly errors.

I'd be happy with Skrt's and Dagger in the middle for the Arsenal game.

    Rest Kolo,two big mistakes now.
