We seem to have an agreement that Frankie is our best option as Goalkeeper Based on the official list we have 7 defenders, we currently play 3 - 5 - 2 and only 5 midfielders listed with 6 strikers. so for this round we are picking THE BACK 3 from the 7 defence in the next round THE MIDDLE 5 from the 5 midfielders and who is left from the defence plus freeman the attack which is invariably 2 strikers from a list of 5 (Callum is injured) SO in your opinion, who would be your back 3? should you opt for 4 at the back please add your 4th player in the general thread replies
SC likes 3-5-2 so I'd go with : Ayling, Flint and Baker. Might be interesting for Ayling if Moore gets fit.
I was a "champion" of 3 - 5 - 2 Last season but think in this division the number of teams that can readily exploit it are vastly numerical to teams that find it hard to break down it is difficult to see how to put a four together as we do seem to have a a number of players that like to get up but others allow gaps rather than cover their runs ....
Happy with 3 at the back formation but SC needs to drum into them that their priority is to defend, too often they are caught upfield when there is no need to be there
Problem is like Smith last year, give them a chance and unless there is an "option" to buy at the season end..the price goes up or they get back in their own team or get sold somewhere else.. isn't that what happened to Danns?
