How could we get Edgar.... he's signed to a club so it's outside the transfer window?

Sorry, my comment was rhetorical. What I meant was that we screwed up on getting him the first time around and if only.....

You would hope they are already on top of this and I suspect there is some 'secret' web site where these and more are listed (couldn't find any players on e-bay when I checked). Just incase I just forwarded them the list!

ahhh. sorry dude. I think it's easy to blame FIFA in all this after all, to quote ..... "Making A Mistake Once Is Called Learning. Making It Twice Means You're Not Learning"

Sadly (and yes I'm having a Victor Meldrew moment) this country has far too many people from top to bottom who just don't do their jobs properly. This cock up is just another example.

But the cock up is not necessarily the swans fault, remember they have signed bessone from Leeds on the same day, this is down to the other clubs not completing the paperwork properly IMO

Never said it was the Swans' fault. It's been well documented that we did everything right (apart from leaving it so bloody late, maybe). But it was somebody's fault. Hence my point about people being paid to do a job badly.

choice 1 - Burnley, Lens and Fulham have all got together and are part of a conspiracy to tuck the Swans up over a long term multi season plan
choice 2- FIFA have picked out Swansea for special treatment and are tucking the Swans up
choice 3- Someone in the Swans is not doing their job right

me thinks a poll is due!

Well these young lads have performed admirably when called upon. Jazz, Alfei & Thomas so forth come to mind. Of course, Little Joe's come through the ranks too. But the risk has been lower obviously before now. At last though, they are playing at a higher standard in the reserve premier league. Sometimes you may have to see what they're made of when we're stretched like times like now. Who would have thought Taylor would reached the level he has now, 15 months ago!! Monk will play Saturday though... <ok>

Choice 4 (and far more likely): Incompetence at the other clubs coupled with leaving it late (our fault).

Don't all clubs leave it late though - we will always be on the back foot as the current rules stands, as we are the only foreign club in the Premier League according to FIFA and is likely we will always now have a slightly shorter window than everyone else or face this situation every time..... Not fair imo.
