Defenders and strikers, no more midfielders!!

Midfield, easily our strongest position on the pitch and yet we are linked with more, I want zog and maybe a barnetta but I want us to get rid of perch, get a back up rb or even someone better then simmo, maybe French ??? And a cb, same thing as just stated, samba would be an improvement, but personally some one young good potential and could get a few games

Forward wise, we need someone to compliment ba, shola (when he plays) so not Carlton cole!!! I want a really decent striker also young maybe not know. Tiote esq!!

We need to be playing one up front so the new striker hopefully won't play with Ba anyway

 

Maybe Pardew thinks Barton and Jonas will be off soon so is planning for life without them. Agree that we need a couple of defenders though.

 

Local reporters (who are generally better than national ones) think Jonas is staying put. I tend to agree

The NOTW think he's likely to stay too. Ranger, Jose and Best look most likely to go at the moment (+Alan Smith.. but who cares?).

I think we need a tad more creativity, especially if the rumors of Arsenal coming in for Barton are true, as i can't see him turning down an opportunity like that.

Anyway, i'd still like to sign Nzogbia and Barnetta, then a couple of strikers, and then another CB.

If we signed N'zogbia and Barnetta, we'll have 5 senior wingers, as well as Ferguson, and Ben Arfa who is often played on the wing. That is wayyyyyy too many.

 

Ben Arfa should cover the creativity

 

We'll have Nzogbia, Barnetta and Gutierrez. Ferguson is cover, Ben Arfa is an central attacking mid, not a winger.

Who cares if we have a canny few? Squad depth lad, squad depth.

 

I'd be disappointed if we signed no more mids though mate. I'd want one more, and preferably a winger.

 

We've got creativity flowing out of our arse with Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Barton, Jonas, Marveaux (and the likes of Ferguson, Tiote capable as well). Need 2 more strikers if we're selling Best and an Enrique replacement.

 

Really, i'd take another winger at a good price but
Cabaye, Barton, Tiote, Guthrie, Gosling as CMs
Ben Arfa, Jonas, Ferige, Marveaux as wingers or attacking midfielders

i think we've got enough. Also You were saying earlier that you'd rather not get Neil Taylor because you'd rather Fergie got a chance. He'd be third choice left back then but 5th choice winger if we got N'zogbia, 6th if we got Barnetta as well. Seeing as from what we've seen he looks better on the wing that doesn't make much sense to me if you want him to get any game time
