Well, another hoodoo gone, another piece of my heart stolen by an Italian gent, we're nearly there, what a stunning turnaround, has a manager ever changed so much so soon...

Anyway, just the thing that grabbed me above all else today was the phenomenal die hard attitude and organisation of the defence, who'd have thought that bringing in one of the most eye catching attacking players to grace the Premier League as manager would see an upturn in the backline, I thought the back 4 were absolutely incredible this afternoon.

The tireless tracking of N'Diaye was a remarkable turnaround from players trotting after their man, some of the blocks were superb, I just never though, bar the insanely conceded free kick for the crazy back pass )who was it, I just saw the Mig flying through the air!), that we ever looked like conceding, and that was such a great mindset to have once in front.

Thought AJ was very decent, still not quite there, but seems 3000% more willing to take a man on ow, and I reckon next season we will see the AJ we all got a wee bit excited about.

****ing great times my friends, and the lions shall remain on our sleeves next season now, I have no doubt.

    Forza Paolo!

Larsson booted the ball at Ming. his passing through out wasn't much better.
No denying his three free kick shots were better, but the others when passing were over hit or straight to their keeper.

There were quite a few times N'Diaye got some very telling touches in, in front of the defence and got there with sheer determination!
Got to agree the back four were top rate with special mention for Colback did a fine job there today at RB!

Ming had my heart in my mouth a couple of times but recent performances excuse him. :)

From what I saw Seb made some decent passes in the second half (that's all I saw), I know you don't really like him though :p

N'Diaye was class as was The whole of our defence. I really hope we can sign Rose on a perm, he was a class act today, theys not many better leftbacks in the Prem in my opinion!

He wont come cheap, and he'll have caught the attention of a few other clubs. Liverpool have been mentioned.
On the plus side, he's a Northern lad from Huddersfield, and he's already spoke of his desire to stay.

Nope, especially considering we'll be dealing with Levy!

Nothing to do with like or dislike, it's about my opinion he is not good enough in there.
Him managing to hit a couple of passes in the right direction doesn't alter the fact he misplaced even more.
One of them he had runners either side and Graham in front and he passed the ball to there keeper.
He is a waste of time in MF too slow and ponderous, N'Diaye was doing all his graft.
IF he can't now make dead balls count, we need better in there.

Larsson, as he did last week at the scum, got through an extra-ordinary amount of leg work today and put a canny shift in for the team. Everyone cant be AJ or Sess and someone has to put the graft in and N'Diaye and Larsson did just that today.

I think we have crossed the point of no return now and we will stay up. 37 points with 4 games to go and I think we can put another 5 or 6 points to our tally yet.

PDC has rewritten the how to turn things round a footy club in a few weeks' to just a few days.

    Great stuff and highly entertaining.

I have no doubt we'll stay up.

In fact, can we start a petition to extend the season by 20 games we're on for 4th, haha.

    Lol

As we were coming out my pal said (tongue in cheek mind) wonder if we can finish in the top 10? Lol

He was joking but it just goes to show how the mentality has changed for players and fans alike in 6 days.

We will stop up now. No doubts about it.

Wigan and that plank con man Martinez (still blaming everyone in the world and telling anyone daft enough to listen that Wigan are a good side and just unlucky) are the new favourites for the drop imo.

Looks like it Cest, that was probably their most winnable game today, and they were well beaten.

They won't be back if they go either, IMO.

Cant see them winning 3 out of the last 5 games PP. If they were good enough to do that they wouldn't be where they are.

Losing Wigan from the league will take away a good away game, not that it affects me, but we always take around 5k there.

I suppose Hull would be their replacement

Lol. Will be interesting to see what sort of reception he gets, I guess it will depend on whether or not he runs his gob coming up to the game. Hope Meyler gets a good reception

I went to Hull at home a few years back when we one 4-1. Great day. "Browny what's the score?!"

If he starts with all that I was sacked because I was a Ge0rdi3 ****e then I hope he gets ****ing slaughtered.

I will give all the former Sunderland lads a good cheer personally and none more so than Meyler AND Campbell.
