You all said a while back that defensive cover wasn't needed that if one or the other got injured or suspended that Cooper would come in, well, BOTH Chester and Hobbs are now injured so it looks like either we play Bradley and Cooper for the next few games or we recall McShane, either way we should of signed a centre back on emergency loan just in case.
Cooper has gone to ****. We should definitly gone in for some cb cover. The problem with Cooper as I understand it is he got caught up with Bullards attitude and life style. He thinks he has made it because he has played a few games in the prem. Bradley is not ready.
Thing is we can't expect to much of Sonny Bradley as he has just come from League Two he isn't ready for this step, yet he looked alright today to be fair to the kid. I don't think anyone denied we needed defensive cover, i think we all agreed we did.
Cooper was good today. As for Bradley, I hate it when people say this "he's not ready" line. You've probably never seen him play before today so how do you know he isn't ready?
that's right, every single one of us said that, every single one of us is wrong but you're right. Let's be honest, more than half of us said that we have been fortunate to have no injuries/suspensions to Hobbs/Chester and that cover is needed.
The way I see it, we can't feel sorry for ourselves running out of defenders when we've gone into the busiest month of the season with only 4 players covering 3 positions. We spent the entire half of the season with only Bradley as defensive cover (McShane was injured well before the summer window shut) and after we failed to sign Ayala we never found another option. We were just lucky none of the back 4 got injured during that time.
Try not to make things up about what other people have said. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/113881-Squad-depth-chart/page2?highlight=injured
I'm basing my opinion because I created a thread a couple of months saying we needed just one more CB, instead my opinion was dismissed quite quickly, some people may of agreed with me, but the majority said that they were contempt with Cooper as backup.
