    Hi Kopites.
I wish King Kenny all the best for nxt season and hope that you get to 20 titles before Fergie the C**t, I reckon You have the best midfield in the League at the mo and up top Suarez is ten times what torres WAS Carroll will be the nxt Shearer but is Kenny going to shore up the back line? and who would you guys like to see brought in? if and when that is sorted you will win the Prem no doubt !!
    best wishes for 2011/12

Well there are strong rumours doing the mill that the next signing we make will be a LB; a few options to choose from but they will most likely be foreign. I can see us wanting to get rid of a few players before we bring more in though.

We would all like another CB, but personally I'd like to see Wisdom make the step up because I truly believe he can make it.

I trust Kenny to make a defensive signing at some point, but if we don't then it won't be the end of the world - we did alright in terms of defence last season (second half).

I hope so. We need a left back and a centre back. but at the same time we need to get ri of a whole lot of resource hogging deadwood (which is another priority) I honestly doubt we'll spend any more then £15m in filling both positions. £8m for Enrique, £7m for Dann

Although I do think we need to strengthen in this area (especially LB) I don't think the coals conceded in our friendlies are to be a cause for concern, we hardly played our best CB pairings at all throughout the games.

The next 2 matches will identify if Kenny/DC will go back into the market for either/or a FB ot CB. So far we have not played anything like a settled back 4 in any of our games. It appears to me that there is a lot of panicing going on at the moment.

Kenny does have options, at least in terms of numbers within his present squad. Therefore unless a 'target' becomes available at the 'right' price then I do not forsee LFC entering the market. DC has enough on his hands moving-on the deadwood and lightening the wage bill. Kenny/SC have enough on their hands identifying the best defencive unit possible.

I think we need a CB more than LB.
