Will be good to see more of Rudd, he's seemed very assured in goal for Preston. Probably not ready to be our first choice but a year or so as Ruddy's understudy playing in the cups and competing for the position will be good for us.
I think Bunn's contract runs to August 2014, so more than likely he will be released. However we have a 1 year option on that, so we could see him stay.
Not convinced that article has drawn the correct conclusions to be honest. We've got an extremely capable young 'keeper on our hands, who has more than proved himself in league 1. There's not much point loaning him back to PNE to do more of the same, he needs to be pushed. And if we want to push him, why would we put him on our bench, with only occasional outings against lower league, or weakened, sides in the cups? Doesn't make sense to me. Bunn is a perfectly adept number 2 (particularly at this level), so should we want to stay on and the wages not be huge, I don't see why we'd get rid. It makes more sense to loan Rudd to a team at the lower end of the championship, so he can continue to get game time and develop.
