So.... Looking for genuine opinions. I have no particular axe to grind either way, but am interested in what others think. From what I have heard, both Spurs and Man utd were victims of poor refereeing decisions today. My point is this - for neither team will the decisions be the major talking point. Man Utd went on to win anyway so the decision will be completely forgotten. For Spurs, air time may be given to Harry whinging (if he does) but the big talking point is the top 3 team dropping points........ Both 'injustices' will be completely forgotten. Now imagine Man Utd had won aswell as getting a decision for them like the one that went against them today (as has happened many, many times over the years). Suddenly the decision is THE talking point Imagine Spurs earning a draw as a result of the decisions that went against them today. The decision is the talking point. See where I am going?........ It is a well known and well documented argument that decisions are harder to get at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge etc. My question is, is this really the case (obviously there is no way of knowing) or is it just an easy response by the press to make a story that isnt as boring as 'Man Utd/Chelsea/Man City win AGAIN.......
