Like the comparison to a dissolute gambler in Monte Carlo who wins in the end. Interesting to see Bruce's comments about fans nearly pushing Wednesday over the line. Some fans on here have described fans who sing all the way through as moronic and who should remain seated, though he accepted jumping up if we scored was part and parcel of the game. Another which I thought must be a wind up said that fans met to discuss things, chat about things, what other teams were doing, look at the internet and people singing spoils it. People should support the team in a quietly passionate manner (whatever the **** that is). http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ile=false#readerCommentsCommand-message-field
what you on about lol another which I thought must be a wind up said that fans met to discuss things, chat about things, what other teams were doing, look at the internet and people singing spoils it.?
If you open the link and it shows comments scroll up as there is the report I was referring to about the comments I liked.
"Interesting to see Bruce's comments about fans nearly pushing Wednesday over the line" Wednesday were nowhere near the line in this game, fat lot of help they got then.
Well I'm not clicking on the Daily Mail article. But with the misses, unfortunately I think we are used to that at times. If you keep creating you hope you get one in eventually, and they really offered little threat. It was just a matter of whether we would tire I think.
the only time i genuinely worried they'd score is in the 95th minute i can't remember, did their keeper come up for that 95th min corner? if not why?
Yeh when we got all defensive you never know, if the ball just bounces the wrong way, it's risky sitting back. Before that I just hoped we would score before the last 5-10 minutes, as the nearer to the end it gets the more nervy both teams would become. We did score before that potentially very nervy end thankfully.
I was meaning Bruce's thoughts on these things when a lot of fans think vocal support doesn't matter and the team has to do something to warrant vocal encouragement. He obviously doesn't agree. Of course it works better if you are encouraging a decent time having an off day more than a relatively poor one having an off day.
I'm bored to ****ing tears of hearing his negative opinions on the clubs fans and his general dismissive view on Hull as a place. I'm off to bed now, he can piss and moan all he wants. Boring ****.
