The Rangers club in their first game after the shame of going into Administration had a massive attendance at Ibrox of over 50,000. That should have mean't , taking account the Killie support a crowd in excess of 40,000 decent, honest fans, men with dignity who I would have thought would have initiated a Special fund to help their club in their hour of need. I would have thought it would have started on Saturday as trickle but a determine attempt to set-up a fund to help to remove the shame and the stigma of administration. Even a thousand fans, for a start, donating an average of £300 each would have brought in a worthwhile sum of money and would inspire many more to do likewise. The administrators would then think twice about liquidation of any club which had that type of support. I know that if Celtic found itself in the position Rangers are in, I would immediately make a worthwhile contribution to Celtic/administrators. In my mind it is very simple, we are all members of the Celtic family and if one of us hurt or fall in need we try to help. That is what families are for.
Mr Whyte must have a heart of gold, always willing to help others out, even when they have no money. Brilliant. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=211642
Our Rangers fans friends always say they love their club more than we love our club , and we live off our hatred of Rangers . Why come when the two clubs had a share issue one had the greatest share issue in the history of British football , and their share issue well for politeness , we will call it a flop
The 'begging bowl' will no doubt go out again to the Rangers' fans in some form in the near future. It will be interesting to see how well they respond....it will certainly need to be a much better response than to the share issue!
Its the decent honest Rangers fans who need to lead the way. The Rangers name is scrum now, I would expect the decent honest Rangers fans to put their hands in their pockets and make a worthwhile contribution just to show Rangers in a new light. If things had been normal at this stage of the season Rangers fans would have expected their cheating club to be chasing a treble. The money saved attending and celebrating this "treble" would be an expression of their sorrow over the way the club had cheated their way.
This isn't like a share issue. They trusted Minty, they trusted the Motherwell Billionaire. I don't know why they did, but they did. They put more faith in those that ran their club then we ever did/could. All the White/Kelly ****e, we were all over it as a support. They followed like lambs to the slaughter. Put it like this. We all have a cheeky, crafty mate who'll borrow a score and you'll never see it again. You'll probably give him another score....you know what he's like. That was us...it doesn't hurt so bad when you don't get your money back. Then there is William. He always pays you back. Always. He's never ****ed you over. Then one day he asks for £10k...It is a big ask, but he's a good guy, so you lend it to him.......and then he's gone....that **** stings like a motherfucker. You aren't going to be lending folk quite so readily the next time out. That is where the Huns are. They can't trust anyone any more. And why should they. They should keep their money firmly in their pockets until such time as they have a "new" friend who gives them their pin number and keys to the house.

Do the Rangers (Administration) fans even believe in the R(A)ST? All I'm hearing about is infighting, timposters, lists of enemies, threats to staff at HMRC and Dundee Utd, boycotts, protests, protesting of protests....its endlessly funny Maybe that's why no one wants to buy you
Totally disagree with this statement. In fact I would say it is the reverse. Rangers may have been formed before Celtic but we all know that when Celtic were formed we were quite a formidable team and the powers that be were not keen on an Irish/Catholic team doing well so they needed a Scottish/Protestant team to back. It could have been Queens Park, Thistle or Clyde but it so happened at the time that Rangers were the best of the bunch. So Rangers are our creation really. They are a reaction to Celtic.
Tom Selleck, you see where your useless unfounded logic has brought us now, around the full circle so that we are to blame for everything. Even brainless wonders like Trevor could not have got a round the whole circle without your mindless conclusion. With fans like you Tom it isn't one bit wonder that Celtic slip from their usual high pedestal, we need your posts as much as Rangers need a statement from Craig Whyte that everything is fine. I think if there is any hint of truth in your statement, then it would the powers that be looked around at what was available at the time Queen's Park, Clyde and Rangers. Rangers suited best because their mindset was similar to the powers that be. They had a fan base that like themselves hated Roman Catholics and the Irish immigrants. The Rangers owners and wealthy supporters ha a policy of not having an Irish papist about the place. Queen's Park or Clyde were not of that persuasion and from then on unfortunately for Celtic in particular and football in general Rangers and the powers that be have ran Scottish Football between them for the good of Rangers and also the good of Scottish Football. Rebelbhoy stop treating other posters on here as real lunatics. Everybody reading these posts recognise that Rangers, and more important their credibility and their good name is at stake. Fans who ignored and obviously did not trust Murray with his share issue, must recognise the seriousness of the situation. No fan money invested in the club for donkey years, two consecutive owners have cheated and stole money from the HMRC. Fans need to show someone cares, someone has dignity and if at the end of the day only 25% of the 250,000 who went to Manchester the day their hoodlums shamed Scotland, were to come up with genuine money £100--to --£500 per head and give to the administrators. This would send a powerful message that there were honest decent Rangers loving fans around. That is the only sure way of saving Rangers. People can say this and that, those statements are not worth the paper they are written on. Money Counts. !!!
