Well managed to get a good link for the game so watched it all and heres my views. First off Ming was amazing today, came off his line when needed to attack the ball and made some amazing saves. Only one critisism is his distribution of the ball isnt great. Over all though he was class! Back 4 did well and rode their luck at times but Mensa, Bramble and Bardsley all had good games, Ferdinand did too but looks shakey and clueless at times. Middle of the park didnt do too bad considering they had the skillfull free flowing football of Arsenal to deal with but managed to break up some plays. Malbranque just keeps on going with his crazy little circles round and round he goes, where he ends no body knows, love it haha. The rest of midfield did well, Sessegnon will take time to settle but looks to be getting to grips with the physical english game. Not the best ive seen from Muntari but he was solid at times. Now henderson, i dunno what to make of him, sometimes he plays a killer pass but more often than not all his passes either go sideways or backwards and he looks lost at times chasing the ball and frequently loses posession, maybe im being more critical of him coz hes a local lad but recon he needs a rest! Gyan was dissapointing for me today, i know he was upfrount by him self a lot but he seems to jump for balls far too early or not jump at all and hope the defender misses it and he frequently gave the ball away today. He is class but had a shocker today i think! Welbeck, what can i say, we change when hes on the pitch, he brings urgencey, skill and flair to the team. The whole team perked up when he came on. The lads class and would love to have him for another season! The ref, well never see a ref more giving to a Sunderland team, cheers pal, makes a change instead of being dicked over all the time haha! To summarise then, boys did well and it was vital to stop the losing streak and a very good point! The mags lost too so happy days! Improvement still needed for Liverpool though but im sure the lads will be up for it at home! Howay the lads! FTM
