I don’t rate Fields at all, you get a better fillet from the butchers counter in Morrison’s, than you can get from there.

They are living on a unjust reputation somehow. Richardson's is better quality and price

I use the butcher in Trinity Market, only because it's round the corner from me.

Did Pie expand too quickly or something? Had several shops and was supplying to City at one point.

I get there carverys for dinner when out at work, there spot on and wouldn't get anything different. The butchers side do some nice things but as already being said well overpriced. One things Fields don't do well is pastry with whatever is on the inside of it.

Hull Pie is overated when ever i've tried them, thought it was more marketing hype than quality.

Chants ave butchers is good and well priced and where i buy my meat from and as Chazz says the cornish pasties are well worth a try.

The meat van on Walton Street market. Bag of chicken fillets, 10 Angus beef steaks, two pound of sausages and a 100 burgers, all sold in a cockney accent for a tenner.

Brummie, cockney, all the same thing. '5hite in a bag, who's got a tenner' and watch the hands go up. Once got conned into buying a 'bag of chicken' from a similar meat auction when I was in Hull market. Even the dog turned it's nose up at it.

Don't worry any support for Liverpool/Celtic has been banned by Anlaby Parish Council.
