We have five games in December before the January transfer window opens and it could be a massive period for us in terms of the second half of the season. We are 9 points off the play offs and three of the five fixtures are at home, in my head if we have a good December and manage to maybe get within 5 points off the play offs then Khan may throw a bit of money at it in the window, despite many other fans thinking we spent big due to the McCormack deal we reduced our wage bill massively and out net spend must have been about even. if we have a bad December and are still about eight/nine points off the play offs then Perhaps we should concentrate on finishing mid table and bringing the youngsters on ready for next season!
You could be right Cookie, but I feel we blew a couple of games, ie Brentford, Blackburn in particular the points gained there would have put us in a very healthy position under Kit, and would have then had the points, and table position to attract a couple of quality defenders. Still we are where we are, and in a better position than a couple of months ago.
Everyone is dropping points. Derby lost at the weekend, Forest have slowed a bit, so have Norwich. Its not impossible.
Yes, the Championship seems a bit of a lottery at times. A couple of sensible signings in January could see us move up the table pretty quickly.
Agree bidders but lets hope the powers to be don't decide to sell at the same time, at least not our best prospects.
