Okay off to a reasonable start against a stubborn, if lacking in skills, Wednesday team.

On to the next 5 this month. With the exception of Peterboro (with apologies to Minxy) the other 4 are going to be really tough games and if we can get 7 to 9 points from these (10 to 12 from the 5 and 13 to 16 for the month) we will have done well.

We are not going to win every game and will lose some along the way. However, the teams we are competing with will also suffer similar fates so the important thing is to keep ticking the points score upwards and if we can continue the magic 20 points per 10 games we will get there. While we only got 19 from the last 10 we are still one point ahead of the game after 20 matches.

As for Peterboro, will they come to park the bus like Wednesday or try to play us at football? With the exception of Birmingham most recent visitors to CCS have been footballing sides who didn't pack midfield and drop back to their penalty boxes whenever we got the ball. In the past the Posh have come to us playing football and as our poor results at their place have shown, they can attack when they get the bit between their teeth. However, they, like Wednesday, are in dire trouble at present so I can't see them risking all by trying to outscore us.

It's a tough one to call. We've said before that most teams will have a lack of form from key players or pick up injuries or suspensions to those players. I just hope it happens when we are playing them.

The important thing with the teams just below us is not to lose to them. We mustn't go out with that as an approach, but a couple draws against Leicester and Palace won't be the end of the world as it maintains our relevant positions.
