Here's an interview with McNally and Bowkett explaining the most recent accounts. http://www.mustardtv.co.uk/browse/norwich-city-officially-debt-free/
All good news and in context of the standing of the club, in many ways is as important as the position in the league pyramid. When you see what has happened to Portsmouth, Coventry Glasgow Rangers and Hearts - not to mention the Rushden & Diamonds of this world, we can think back not that many years and we were closer to that precipice than I care to remember. We have had endless threads, discussions and arguments about style of play, the manager, size of ground etc but without having the club in existence all of those debates are superfluous. Well done McNally and the whole board. On the ball City.
Financial stability is vitally important - as TC says above, look at some clubs who have mismanaged the monies and nigh on collapsed because of it - thank goodness we are not in that position now but could easily have been had it not been for Mighty Mac, Bowkett and Delia/Michael. An achievement not to be overlooked.
It does put everything in perspective. If the worse did ever happen and we got relegated I have no doubt that the club is being managed in such a way that the long term future of the club wouldnt be in jeopardy.
Talk about going from one extreme (NCFC ) to the other (Portsmouth ) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ayers-including-David-James-Tal-Ben-Haim.html
As always, wise words from Gary Gower on the subject http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...ly-can-take-the-plaudits-for-a-job-well-done/
