Stolen this idea from Huckerbys twitter where he compares greats from the world of football so I thought I'd start this off by asking who you think has been better for Norwich/who you like more out of the legendary Darren Huckerby and City legend to be Grant Holt.

Tough one I think but I'd still err for Huckerby at the minute because he was so exciting and some of his goals were stunning. However if Holt fires us to the premiership and scores some goals there this could all change.

I would go with Huckerby too.
Grant has done an excellent job for us, of that there is no doubt but Hucks brought something else to the party.

Although occassionally frustrating he could destroy opposing teams just by appearing on the team sheet!

My fondest memory was the Cardiff game, his last game for us as a loan player. A game where he was saying farewell, as we had no idea if he was coming back.

He tore Cardiff to shreads that day, a day when Cardiff were doing very well in the Championship themselves. If I remember correctly he bagged 2 goals for himself, but more than that every time he got the ball Cardiff were terrified.

Will also never forget the atmosphere (although the game will be largely forgotten) before the Forest game on Boxing Day when Hucks was announced as a full time City player. The reception he was given can not be compared to any other player that I can remember.

Have to agree with Thai. There was something very, very special about watching hucks in that first season with us. He was by far the best player in the championship that season. Holt is good, but he doesn't get the opposite team and fans going: "Oh **** Holts playing". Huckerby got that reaction.

Still, give Holt time and I'm sure he can be in the same category.

If Holt sees the rest of his career out with us he will go down as a true City legend, Im sure. Not to mention steam up the goal charts. Top 25 after the pen against Reading I believe.

If a foreign fan who didnt watch much prem/english football watched a few youtube clips of English players and saw a compilation of Huckerbys i.e.one against Birmingham, one for Coventry etc they'd think WOW what a player. Some of his goals were UNBELIEVABLY good.
