For those who were not at Priestfield today.... It is my sad duty to report a ' fatality ' at the game against Charlton... I expect the unfortunate victim was overwhelmed by the occasion..... I expect the excitement of the FA Cup, and energy expended by the players was too much 'strain' to bear. The occasion was made even more sadder - because it would have been witnessed by the other three of the 'quads ' - of which the ' deceased' was one of the quartet.... but - interestingly ( or not ! ), I know that the other 3 members of the 'family' won't have shed any tears at the demise of the 4th member .... I suppose it will be because that they all have wooden hearts !...... you see, the victim who suffered a fatal accident was one of the corner flags - which snapped -- and despite having been resuscitated, for the last few minutes of the game, has not survived...... ..... embarrassing that Gills didn't have a spare ! ...... it's a good job the 'dislike' button is no longer an option.
