Please Mr Henry Give us 60 million in January so,we can go out and buy Huntelaar Holtby Ericsson De young Any chance? Ps. See babel is still ****e
Can but dream and what about a sneaky bid for that excellent Christian Paulson fella? What do you mean he used to play for us? Not like this he didn't
Poulsen and Babel are playing in the CL, life can have a sense of humor it seems..... Siem De Jong? Ill take any of the dortmund players as well.
I only saw injury time. ****ing tesco/boots/sainsburys!!! (chemist for youngest but first two didn't have what he needs)
unlikely to be given any more than 25 million including player sales imho , we just need a bloody striker!!
You can see why we are not in the CL when you look at some of our squad compared to teams like Shalke, Dortmund and Ajax who probably won't qualify themselves. There are some truly talented players in those squads and these are unheralded teams. Now the big question can we entice any of them to come and play for us and bring that creative quality and finishing ability that we desperately need. It will take quite about of negotiating and money to do it. The name of Liverpool will still count but you feel we must get CL football in the next couple of seasons or it may be further back for us than we want to think about.
Shhh.... the mancs will wonder whats going off with sensible comments like that! Just pretend it never happened...
Caught the very end, was watching the Real - BVB game. Dortmund are a great team! I hope BR can do a Klopp. Klopp had an average record with a good vision before he started at BVB, he also finished 13th before winning the title. A lesson we should all take note.
I mentioned on another thread but a dream window for me would be Holtby, Huntelaar and Walcott - all in the last year of their contracts.
We just figure the penny's finally dropping. It's been in orbit for a good few years now, about time it fell back to earth
Rafa had an average record before he joined Valencia. Sometimes you just need the right club and the right environment to succeed and I'm hoping Rodgers and LFC are a perfect match. I truly believe he will get it right. I have the same faith in him as I did with Rafa - it will take time to bring in the right players but I think Rodgers has a good head on him and can identify them e.g. Allen, Sahin and Assaidi are talented, technical and young.
