    Very shocked. RIP Deano.

Think for a season or two, he was one of the best centre halfs I've seen in a Saints shirt. Used to read the game so well and kept many a striker in his back pocket when Hoddle had the defence well marshalled.

a tragedey. A great defender, and when he was with us he could've, should've been an England regular. he was immense, a towering giant of a defender!

RIP Deano. Condolences to his freinds and family

Heard there was a great tribute for him today at the Wolves - Spurs match , well done to both clubs and great to see Dave Jones and James Beattie there , the latter who has recently lost his father.

Should imagine the club will play tribute before kick-off. They should anyway.

Rather than a minutes silence, don't they clap these days, to celebrate his life? Or have I got that wrong?
