Does anyone else get the feeling our transfer dealings are now complete? If so whats the general feeling going into the season with what we have? I would have loved a natural left back also a full on old style lefty winger and one more striker. Not convinced we are going into the season with enough options up front I worry were the goals will come from. Very happy with the cover we have in certain areas of the pitch though, so confident we won't be going into the season ahead worrying about injuries etc. Just cannot wait the season to start now!!!! ha way the lads!!!
Still reckon we could have done with a bit more left sided quality, Sessegnon may end up playing there now and would have loved to see him in the hole.
1 or two more to come IMO, not sure who but Bruce said the left wing was a problem and his pursuit of N'Zog would back that up. Goals no problem. SB & SNQ have known since last summer that Judas wanted out so cannot believe they havent got summit lined up. As much as I think Connor will be a class act, eventually, dont think he was the star buy I anticipated. I am still expecting at least 1 major signing in August and 1 or 2 loan signings
I also think we're a little light upfront especially when Gyan goes to the African Nations, I reckon another signing and a couple of loans also, Welbeck again?
I'm exited and nervous, IMO we don't have as much quality as the start of last season but with less loanees and a more workman like style of players being brought in we won't be bullied as much next season. To me we are an unknown but if we don't get anymore in I can't see us improving on last season in the final placing that is (10th). Still as I've said we are an unknown so as usual being a Sunderland fan will again have its ups and downs.
need 2more players IMO a left winger and another striker not bothered if they are loan signings or permanent deals aslong as we bring them in
Smithy, off topic but just seen your fathers day slideshow lad. Its very good, people often laugh at how much parents nowadays take so many pics/vids but IMO the memories are precious something our age group never had due to the technology available.

He sure is lad, I was watching the Foyle Cup over here over the last week (the largest youth tournament in the Country) and it was unbelievable the amount of talent that was on show through all the age groups. It just goes to show how hard it is for any youngster to make it as a footballer.
This is Sunderland not us, Sunderland will buy a couple more no doubt and get Welback and Onuoha back on loan no doubt.
I think there will be a couple more, I think they are just waiting to shift some of the wage bill out, I can see a couple going even if they go cheap just to get the wage bill down in order to sign a couple more. I don't think a transfer fee will be a problem its the wages. I think we will almost certainly see a striker on loan, its sensible as we have Campbell to come back and Wickham and Dong to bed in. The signing will be a winger (I hope). I could see Bruce signing a quality Centre back though, you know how much he loves them, especially if one of the players that leaves is a centre back getting paid big money Anton??
1 left sider, 1 striker and maybe 1 CB and I think we''ll maybe get 2 of the 3 mentioned , how much would magic have fitted in with this lot?
