Seems to be a lot of buzz about this film. Does anyone know why? Someone told me it was a film about a Marvel comic character so, being a straight male, I instantly thought "it'll be a pile of ****".
No seen it but guy in my work summed it up for me: Guy has cancer Some guys try to make him better They make him undeadable He takes on ****s and makes loads of one liner jokes Stabbings, fighting n jokes .. . S'awright
You missed the bit about a bloke who looks like Chris Houton that runs a massive drugs factory and distributes the product in buckets of chicken seasoning from his fried chicken franchise causing probz with the Mexicans. It is much better if you binge watch the whole thing over a few days because if you miss a few episodes it doesn't make sense.
Deadpool is different from normal superhero comics/movies, he's aware he's in a comic/movie. The movie is a bit like Hellboy too because he's a little-known superhero and the movie surprises people
If you want to watch a **** series based on a comic book, watch Lucky Man, what a pile of pish that is
