I reckon by the time he is fit again it will all be too late for this season at least. NW knows another striker in the Jan Window is a must and Bothroyd is finally starting to come good in a 4-4-2 set up. By the time you throw in the continuing good performances of HH and the resurgence of Mackie then it is clear DJ is going to be well down the pecking order.

It's no wonder he is mainly metal anyway we only paid 1.2 million quid fir his scrap value anyway ... He is IMO a very poor panic buy and should be sold ASAP
He scored 13 goals in this division last year, so don't blame us for thinking he was a bargain at 1.2million.
