Now that the deadline day is done, what transfers for our competitors has helped or hindered them the most?

For me, I don't think West Ham's signings improved them particularly, except maybe Maynard may well be a success there. Birmingham sold a strong defender, so good news there. Don't think Cardiff signed anyone - I know they were after Noone from Bl*ckpool, but I don't think it went through.

I reckon that we are the only team who have significantly strengthened in our late signings and I think that Nigel will still be looking for a CB on loan.

Onwards and upwards for the rests of the season! Everybody on the boat and row together as one!!! COYR!!!!

Watford Sold Sordell.. So they are missing some attacking flair when we play them next.

    Agreed.
West Ham are going to have to shuffle more players into a team that cannot score goals using Sams favoured tactics. He should have offered a shed load of money for Crouch or Zigic, they are the only wants who would slot in perfectly. Hoooof.
Brum have good spirit, they will keep the run going, up to us to slow it down.
Cardiff work hard, a couple injuries to key players would be very damaging though.
Leicester look to have turned the corner.....but....Pearson does seem to be signing loads of defenders, & we know how their fans HATE defenders! <laugh>

We are in a v/good position, just need a slice of luck sometimes.

I just feel come saturday... Brummies will be complacent and expect it to be easy especially considering our major bad form.. but i hope we blow them away like we did at st marys!

Why should they be complacent? Form means nowt in this league, as Ipswich have just shown.

I imagine they will be well up for it, but if we turn up, it should be a good game.
The stakes have been raised, you don't just lose points now, you lose position, & that goes for the whole top ten.
