anyone ever seen this before? what they do is test each warriors weapons on dead pigs and imitation bodies with sensors etc to see who has the best weapons. then they put all the info into a computer program and do 1000 simulations to see who wud win a square go basicly. last night it was william wallace Vs Shaka Zulu a claymore weilding psycho cladded in chainmail versus a wee darkie in his pants with a shield made of animal skin and a spear who do you think won?
Seen that one before. The only thing I learned from it was that Wallace was in fact Scottish, and not Australian as I thought.
duno when its on, only reason a was watchin it is cos av lost ma tv remote, had to sit thro danny dire's most dangerous men b4 it cant wait for the IRA versus the Taliban. cant believe thats an episode
I think you get it on freeview, channel 20 or 21 or something I think. I had a look at the sky listings and that episode is repeated on Thursday. I've got it set to record I don't think the episode with the IRA vs Taliban is getting shown in Britain Nev Danny Dyers dangerous men
they should do the british army v the taliban and then decide whether or not to pull out on the basis of it i'm sure i saw a bit of one once and it was a north american indian v the roman legions
They did Attila the Hun v Douglas Bader. He flew in and shot the **** right off his horse 1000 times.
LR I think you might be thinking of a program that was on BBC a few years ago. I can't remember it's name but it basically put a group of ****s in charge of an army, and they had to decide on tactics, formations and ****e then it done a big simulation where they were left in control. I'm probably wrong
ML - it has been shown on British TV as I watched it about 4/5 months ago Its on about 5 different channels, Bravo, Virgin & Quest so it'll be repeated soon enough!
no it was def this thing although i know the one you mean that was hilarious. "the blue team are accountants from Dagenham and they are going to try to re-create the Roman victory at Alesia", they could then never understand how they lost.... because you're not Julius Caesar! you're a ****ing accountant!
Nice one brum I had a quick read through wikipedia and it said somewhere that it wasn't shown in the UK. Maybe I should read things more fully I'm looking forward to seeing this Might see if its on the sky player at lunch
1st time av ever wanted the taliaban to win. the zulu shield was pathetic. it got sliced in two with 1 hit from a sword.
I remember one episode where it was librarians I think had to take on Boudicca with the Roman army. They got ****ing pumped and couldn't understand why I was reading about battles on wikipedia......theres a ninja vs a viking and a pirate vs a knight
Sure it'll be on youtube if your that interested. Would love to see Nev watch it I can imagine his face at the very end
