Sadly I already see some serious dead wood formed by Rodgers

Sahko v lovern. Both are lcbs 37 million of cbs for one position. Well only keep one as sahko is already going

Toure.... Could gone this summer but was asked to stay to play league cup??

Johnson and Coates are not Rodgers fault being there but are still in need of clearing out

Allen... C'mon he's no ramierez and given his size not one top team would have him near thier team

    Lucas... Legs are gone

Gerrard... FFs only has to say one word and club is falling over him. Simple fact is we've no idea what to do with him at all and his legs are gone

Markovic... 20 mil gone... Ibe and sterling at the club and we buy this guy

Lallana... As above 25 mil gone. He's not fast enough to be so lightweight. And worse he also plays in same position and markovic so that 45 on players not as good as Ibe

    Lambert... Terribly slow

Badontelly... Can only play on way and lfc can't figure out how to get it to him 16 mil wasted

Borini... Refused to leave due to wages.. He is a guy who can't hit the target so is never top 4

There's prob 4/5 more lads could add to that and no doubt some will defend some in there to the end

The reality is however lfcs best 11 has Skertl, an on loan rb, Henderson, sturridge and coutinho so we've not improved since that january

Can I stick Minger on that list. The one time he came off his line yesterday he missed it by a ****ing mile <doh> He's got spatial awareness that's akin to my missus when she's parking her car.

Agreed here. One of the worst keepers we have had at our club.

i mentioned Ibe a while back and was told his loan would be vital experience as he isnt getting game time with us, but he is probably a better option at the moment than both markovic and Lallana, more wasted money in my opinion, we already have ruddy promise in the team, we needed quality not quantity.

wont belong before all our promising players we have will be playing elsewhere.

Just like Wisdom is a better option than Johnson and Suso who couldn't possibly offer less than Allen or Lalla or that other bloke we spent £20mill on who doesn't even play.

Harsh on Markovic - the lad is only 19, new country, new language and being played in the wrong position. This lad is highly rated and is amongst the top youngsters in world football. He's for the future. Question whether or not we should have signed someone who is more experienced, but definitely not his potential.

Allen is a good player in the right types of game i.e. when we need to graft and control games. But he;s not needed in a midfield when we're the favourites and should look to attack. But having said that - I say the same for Henderson. I think both of them are technically limited but they are solid, dependable squad players.

Rodgers needs to patch up his differences with Sakho and start him. He is by far the best centre back we have at this club.

For me, the players we should be getting rid of are Lucas, Skrtel, Johnson, Migs, Gerrard. 5 players who shouldn't be near the first team, reaching the end of their careers (except Migs) and are on big wages (except for Migs).

No spurs sacked their manager. We are the new utd... We will hold into Rodgers for a while longer til we are out of all comps... Best of luck today. You'll need it

I keep saying this as I believe it, we have good players and some mentioned here are good players it's the formation and style of play that's the problem and that is down to the manager.

I also believe that he's a talented young manager that needs the right advice from his staff at this point and he's not getting it.

What happens next is the big worry.

They ain't that good so stand by for more huge losses on sales and Rodgers getting the push... It's inevitable cod sturridge on his own ain't turning this apple cart back over. In short it's gone tits up and Rodgers should focus on the league cup and 4th pretty quick cos we are not going to do anything but take two beatings in the next week

Christ almighty. The absolute joy being taken in collective misery is a disgrace.

UIR? You want to know why this place becomes a ghost town lately? I'd guess (don't know of course) that most fans dont want to wallow in a self congratulatory cesspit of doom and gloom.

I swear some prefer when we do badly. I can take the wind ups from U and Tobes but not this utterly defeatist angry whining from spoilt children.

So on that note!......until now it's been a pleasure..

I think most are fed up with Rodgers insisting on playing certain players, when we lose and they look poor fans are just not understanding why Rodgers is continuing with them. Defeat is always easier to take if there's a performance there and at the moment we are playing so badly that people can't see a way out of this slump.

Drop Balotelli, drop Johnson, take Gerrard off when he's not playing well and people will see the right choices being made and then at least see that the manager is able to recognise the issues.

No mate we ALL prefer it when we're playing well. Granted some still moan when we're flying too <laugh>

None of us want to be in this position Frank, you can't blame people for being frustrated when we've taken three steps backwards. Seeing schoolboy errors week after week is frustrating. Seeing players not taking responsibility is frustrating, hearing a manager talking about transition is more than frustrating.

It's unlikely after yet another poor defeat that the board's a cavalcade of whimsy eh <laugh>

Exactly that. The reason I'm so pissed off with Rodgers, and I can't speak for everyone, is because he flat our refuses to learn from his mistakes this year. Continuing with the 4-3-3 that never works, continuing with an isolated Balotelli, continuing with playing Gerrard and Johnson. He just won't learn and that is utterly infuriating.

Can't believe you put Gerrard on there. As far as I'm concerned he's been our best midfielder this season but he can't win us games from defensive midfield. Henderson and Joe Allen have contibuted nothing this season, Allen needs selling and Henderson a couple of games on the bench as I think he's got too comfortable.

Wait till Gerrard goes to Man City at the end of the season and you'll see just how good he is with top player around him

I don't think I'm a doom and gloom merchant, I believe in looking for the positives which at this point in time is surely our league position and the prospect of Sturridge's return. However, you can't ignore the negatives and one I called ages ago was the huge lack of experience in the coaching team, BR, CP and MM as the main men are seriously lacking in what's needed to take this team through a campaign fighting on all fronts. No European experience between them for a start. That's not wallowing in misery, it's pointing out a relevant shortfall.
