Apparently Ajax are in discussion about signing Siem.

    Hope so.

    Frees up a place.

Might explain his lack of appearance on Sun?

Might as well say Kieron Dyer was one of our best players in 2005.

De Jong's a crock, pure and simple, let him go.

Not been injured for a while! Also, collapsed lungs etc were not like Gayle's hamstrings!

Shame but If a few of these collective sales get us the AM we need I couldn't give a ****.
Totally get why we haven't played him when heavy wind is likely to cause injury

Think we're going to set up as counter attacking side this year (not sure why particularly as we can't defend either) so I guess his lack of pace/mobility might be a factor - but as you say, if it creates some cash for other signings then happy days.

Made of glass had his chance time to move on.

Once again - not made of glass - two collapsed lungs and a freak accident does not make him so. One real injury and that was to his thigh.

I suspect he is another player added to the list of good European players that we didn't know how to get the best out of. He was unlucky with injuries rather than fragile. I expect to see him go on and do very well elsewhere - just like others have done. Shame we didn't know how to get him to do it for us. Good luck to him if he does move on. I'd have liked to see him do well here, but there is no point in having him if Rafa won't play him.

If De Jong can't get a game in front of the likes of Perez or Diame I'd be away in a shot. Rafa has NEVER given him a fair chance , well he isn't Spanish for starters and can hit a forward pass instead of back/sideways.. Good luck to him in future.

If there is the remotest possibility of getting this Jonah of the books, we should take it and thank our lucky stars.

I'd just be amazed if other club would want to jinx themselves with him.

Reports Leicester are after El-Mhanni, as well as Napoli and Brighton. Yet not good enough to make our woeful cup squad. Arma's out on loan, Heardman out on loan, where's the fcking youth then?

Jesus we're such a ****ty club.
