Lindergard is a good keeper in his own right and fergie is giving him chances to prove it. We have 2 very young GK and instead of using one and letting the other fade away we are utilising both. Who knows it may become the norm in a few years to rotate keepers during a season to keep them on their toes.
Quite possibly a punishment from SAF for his shoplifting. After that the S*n turned up at Carrington offering doughnuts to all the players. I doubt SAF was particularly amused by that, and being benched for a game we expected to win was quite possibly his way of making sure De Gea fully understood not to do something like that again.
He was dropped because Ferguson has realised he isn't good enough and is being sold in January. Is that what you wanted to hear?
Because Lindegaard is probably our cup keeper (bit like Sorensen at Stoke) but he didn't play midweek. Simple as that. Don't know why people are blowing this out of proportion as usual. Oh wait, it's a young United signing.
