Many media outlets are stating that we are interested in Borussia Dortmunds Polish marksman Robert Lewandowski They also state that Dortmund are desperate to sell him to us rather than their rivals Bayern Munich And Dortmund are very interested in signing our loaned out midfielder Kevin De Bruyne as a replacement for departed playmaker Mario Goetze And Dortmund have suggested De Bruyne in part exchange for Lewandowski My question to fellow Chelsea fans is are we fine with this deal if it does go through, is Lewandowski worth losing De Bruyne over For me, yes due to our needs for a striker who consistently puts the ball in the net
I say yes while De Bruyne is good his position is one we have a lot of cover in we desperately need a new star striker tho Lewandowski is a perfect fit hes young score lots of goals and has the all around attributes to do well in the PL plus he would cost atleast 15 million less than Falcao .
Ideal would be a season loan at Dortmund and pay a bit more for their player. However if it meant missing out, I'd probably do the swap.
I'd rather not, but I think ultimately, we have too many AMs and too few strikers. It does add up. Would rather see Marin and Benayoun go first though.
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this on here yet, but De Bruyne might want out because Courtois allegedly shagged his missus. Both look like talented young players, though.
Heart says it would be a real shame not see DeBruyne play for us, but head is saying with Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Marin, Piazon, McEachran we're overly blessed in that area and under endowed up front. Ideal would be a Marin + cash swap deal for him.
