Palace have sacked manager Frank de Boer. No surprise, but he was given a ridiculously short time amount of time to turn things around.
Hope they get what they deserve now (relegated) they were discussing it last night on motd 2, apparently its the chairman who wanted to change how they play, so that's why de Boer was brought in the first place, too be give just 4 games is stupid, it was also suggested that there might have been a bit of player power involved as well, due to the player's not been happy with the new style, so when it goes wrong de Boer goes, stand by for the return of big Sam.
Sam obviously didn't fancy it... Sky Sports News @SkySportsNews BREAKING NEWS: Sky sources - Roy Hodgson to be appointed as Frank de Boer's replacement in next 24 hours.
They had plenty of chances yesterday, that miss by Dann at the end was unbelievable. He looked like he meant to miss, as for that back pass?
****ing hell he'll get will make a fortune. Its funny how lucrative failure is in football for mamagers
When hes been asked to completely change the way Palace play with mostly the same players as last season in such little time, he was always going to fail. either give him more time or play to your strengths with a better suited manager.
harsh, you cant ask a manager to come in and change their style of play and sack him after 3 games. No matter what they work on in training and what game plan they come up with how can he legislate for one his his own players putting chris wood through on goal
Already? Their third manager of the season probably won't last more than 4 games based on the fixtures.
