DC has praised rejuvenated Ellis Harrison for his response to being transfer-listed at the end of last season. Harrison returned from the summer break determined to force his way back into the manager's plans and was rewarded with a number of opportunities off the bench. The Wales Under-21 international was then handed his first start of the season in the 1-1 draw at Eastleigh on Tuesday night. It was the first time Harrison had featured from the start of a game since Rovers lost 3-0 in the FA Cup at Birmingham City in January, and Clarke said:
"He did well considering that was his first start in a long while. He did very well for the team. He ran his socks off and it is pleasing to see Ellis returning to somewhere near the sort of form that made him so highly thought of when he first came into the team. He is working hard at the moment and I have no problems with Ellis when he puts in a shift like he did on Tuesday night. His attitude and desire in general is a lot better, but I think there is still a hell of a lot of improvement in the lad. His problems are behind him and he is starting to understand what I expect of him."

I think DC needs to show some support of young Ellis, he's treated him like a naughty school boy and put him on the naughty step. Ironically though, i think Ellis' two late winners earlier in the season actually saved his managers job -In my opinion.

So hat's off to them both i suppose <ok>
