Here is DC's post match spill after the Alfreton game. At the end he has convinced me that we are ready for FGR. Also states Easter had an operation and will be back in pre-season.
Mansell post match Alfreton. Great interview. Disappointed but heads certainly not down. Ready and raring to go.
Thats 2 great interviews straight after finding out that we failed to get promoted. No moaning, not looking at the past but already gunning for FGR. DC himself as manager, Mansell and Lines all have a play off winning experience. Not sure about other players but that experience will be valuable.
The experience in the side will be invaluable. At any rate we seem to have a lot of leaders out on the pitch just like we did in the last playoff winning side. I'm sure DC will be well prepared for these games and I'm sure it will help them having a point to prove against a side they haven't beaten yet. Those games were still quite early in the season when the players were still getting used to each other. These days we look like a different team - much stronger, with a lot of understanding and decent players who can come off the bench and change a game. And in Ellis Harrison we have a match winner and a great foil for Taylor. Bring it on!
I just think they're in a groove. They're confident and must feel like they can beat anyone. I reckon we'll win too, but it will be really tough.
I hope so - looks like we might have gained more confidence from a scoring point of view after the weekend. I really hope that is the case because all we have missed this season is goals
