Before the game me and my mate where in the Wembley Tavern full of apparent City fans all decked out and in black and amber.

The Liverpool vs Man City game was on and Liverpool scored and a massive a cheer went up.

Me, my mate and a another group couldn't help ourselves and shouted a few sarcastic comments.

I was on the concourse when that happened, I stared, muttered "****s sake, that's embarrassing" got glared at by some bint in black joggers and a City top and wandered back to my seat muttering to myself.

I do think the majority of fans, plastic or non-plastic, wanted Liverpool to win.

Though I do think there was quite a lot of the plastic brigade about acting like idiots when they scored.

Day trippers and plastics are something we are going to have to grin and bear if we want to have a big following. We don't have the luxury of a fantastic history to compete with teams at the highest of the table.

I agree. Can't really complain about plastics and then bitch about not selling out 32,000 tickets.

I just found cringy because they all dressed in jester hats and tiger oneies and that jazz.

The fact is that for many we are not the team that they have followed all of their lives.

Hull City may not be a household name, but it is getting there.

I saw a lot less of those than I expected.

I'm not bothered if the kids are wearing all that stuff, it's the teens/adults who are the prats in those situations

    Are you mental?!?!

Liverpool (specially round HU) is the ****s team of choice- they corner the market in quisling support, worse than Manchester United in my experience.

All the local inadequates will feel vindicated if they win the league and treat the whole nation to their sob story and 'long, long wait' to win the league again.

Much prefer Manchester Hunter - they are still relatively local and free from boastfulness.

**** Liverpool and their ****ish hangers on.

Thou shalt not derive enjoyment from football.

Stop being such a martyr, you are allowed to enjoy other games.

Not kidding - I saw a bloke in a Liverpool training jacket in the Wembley concourse.

Even if he was only there to take his kids and not a fan himself, what the hell would possess someone to be that stupid?!!

You have to remember that people have bets on other teams! I cheered that Liverpool won but wasn't because I like them!

I might have seen him on the way out of Wembley.

(The fact i'm saying 'might', suggesting there was more than one, is quite concerning)
