Today the Chairboys travel west to the English Riviera to tackle their Gull problem at Plainmoor. Having lost three times on the bounce for the first time under Gareth Ainsworth the Chairboys will be determined not to make it four for the second time this season against a Gulls team who themselves have lost 6 in a row and will be looking to stop the rot under interim manager Alan Knill. Gaz has promised to freshen things up for this one but apart from Josh returning to midfield I do not expect to see any wholesale changes and if we can keep Rene Howe quiet I canât see the likes of ex Chairboy Elliot Benyon causing too many problems so for me I can see both runs coming to an end and the game finishing knill - nil http://www.wycombe.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=310498
Think i'll be happy with a point anything more would be a cracking result.Pleased Scowen is back to strengthen the midfield.
I think we have missed Scowen badly. In the hope that his return gives us more strength in mid field I'll go for an optimistic 2-1 win.
I'll be more than p****d off if Benyon scores tonight,i saw him play 3 times and he was woeful but there things have a way of coming back to bite you on the arse.
scowen was desparatly missing on saturday, having him back will be a big boost. One lesson i hope gaz has learnt from saturday is to make earlier subsitutions, as neither andrade or kuffour really had time to make an effect on the game im going for us to sneak a win, but i'd take a point COYB
stewert dropped for andrade, slightly bizarre choice from gaz but lets hope it works out! and mcclures just hit the post, sounds good
ainsworth on for grant,i hope he was watching bale last night we could do with a couple of screamers hitting the back of their net
This has all the signs of pressure without goals and then going 2-0 down. Hope I'm wrong but it just seems like we've forgotten how to score.
Thank **** for Big Dave. Is it time Archer was replaced? Not inspiring much confidence the last few games (inc against Gillingham on TV).
